          Death Warrant for Dracula

                                           by John Donald O'Shea

                                      Synopsis

Count Dracula, under the nom de guerre “Professor Alucard” (“Dracula” spelled backwards) takes a teaching position at remote upstate college for women, where, perhaps owing to the stresses of the modern world,  we meet an Administrative staff and a Teaching Faculty that are — shall we say — a bit different.

But this time, instead of encountering another hapless Victorian female victim, the “Professor” happens upon an accomplished female athlete, proficient in the use of variety of “bats” of her own.

As the play takes place in our more civilized era, the vampire hunters find themselves dealing with the  question of how to rid the world of vampires in an ethical way .

The play should run 40- 45 minutes.
